FLIGHTS TO KEFALONIA:
Kefalonia Airport is about 10 km from Argostoli, the capital, and can be easily reached by taxi (the cost is about 15 euro), by car or by bus.

Direct low cost charter flights to Kefalonia from UK cities and other European countries have been recently intensified thanks to Easy Jet, Thomsonfly, Monarch, Small Planet, Germania & Aegean Airlines operating flights from all major UK airports, while Ryanair only connects the island directly to London Stansted.
Very frequent in the high season, in the low season these cheap flights are guaranteed at least once a week from April to October.

If there is no direct flight to Kefalonia, you have to land at Athens airport and wait to take the connecting flight to Kefalonia.
Flights Athens-Kefalonia (approx. 45 minutes) are always available at least once a day, but they are more frequent during summer time, when there are also flights from other greek cities.
